Licking County Recycling and Litter Prevention are teaming up with local schools & the Nike Reuse-A-Shoe program to hold an athletic shoe collection. Thousands of shoes are thrown away in Licking County every year but can be recycled and used as playground surfaces, running tracks, football fields and many other things.
